Game Summary
Players have a collection of wrestler themed cards, and they may select a small subset of those to be in a variety of decks per game mode. The primary game mode is called "Wild Mode" which requires a deck of 4 male superstars, 2 female superstars, and 2 support cards. The player selects their opponent from one of three options. From there they select one of three cards to put into play against their opponent's selection, with or without a support card. Whichever player for that round has the best stats (the game picks 1 to 2 stats per round) wins, and they win a game of wild by beating their opponent in 2 out of 3 rounds. As the players put cards into play, they get to see their cards wrestle each other, with whichever had the better stats coming out victorious.
There are other game modes outside of this as well, such as King of the Ring, Money in the Bank, Ring Domination, Royal Rumble, War, and still more as well. Some of these modes are staples that are always available, while others are only available based on events (such as Last Man Standing), or if the player has joined a team (example: Team Battlegrounds).
The player would be able to buy loads of card packs, fuse cards, train cards, and so on in order to improve the stats on their cards. Newer seasons would tend to have better stats, encouraging players to either play a lot of matches (which grants in game currency) or spend real money to buy in game currency. The success of the game relies upon the WWE fanbase as well as it's policy of not requiring that players need to spend money (it is possible, but challenging to get enough currency by just completing free quests to get all the cards and upgrades you need).
